My Childhood

hi my dear readers!! how is it going? today I´m going to talk about my sweet childhood. when I was a child, I used to say a lot of crazy things, I used to put a new name to everything. for example the manjar, which I loved, was for me "golita". my mom says that I was very funny, that I only sayed crazy things. I was born in London, that´s why I have such a great english ;). not true, just kidding, I was born in santiago, on 27 december.

for my birthday, my godmother use to give my for presents, two for chrismas and two for my birthday, which I was suposed to open in my birthday. I used to take a look of the presents for chrismas, just because I coulden´t wait. I went to nursery school in the Santa Ursula school, where I´m steal studing. that´s because my mom used to work there, but now she works at home, doing classes for the PSU.

With my cousin, who is very fun, we used to imitate dogs at the beach, and we used to run along the all beach. I never did like the barbies, I didn´t use to play with them.

i used to spend all my summer at Algarrobo, where i used to swim, run and sail a lot. but when I was a child, I didn´t like sailing, now I realy do like it.

When I was a child, i had a hundred of plush animals, I used to sleep with a lot of them, which i used to play to.

I had a cat, to, a siamese cat. she was called Chepeta, she used to sleep every night with me, and when i had nightmears she started to purr. when she died i was very sad, i cryed a lot and it was very dificult to me to sleep. but now I have an other cat, which is very cute and furry.

My House and Neighbourhood

Hi girls! todays topic is my house and neighbourhood (what a large name).
i live in a detached house, it is pretty big and has a lot of space for my parents, my six sisters, my cat and me. actually we need a lot of space. There in my hous are six bethrooms, one kitchen, three livingrooms, one classroom, five bathrooms, one dinningroom and the garden. everything in one tiny detached house. my neighbourhood is a little borring, i don´t know my neighbourns, but we are near the "Lider" (supermarket), the park "Borderio", the river, the club Manquehue, the school is relatively close, it is a good place to live.
My cat has a lot of "cat-bourns", she is very friendly. there are, for example Cowcat, Blackcat, Soupcat... they are all good friends.
there are also friends of mine who live near, for example, Coni García, Anita Barraza, Cata Bertens...
In my neighbournhood I can move in bike, i go to the club Manquehue in bike, some times to the school, to the supermarket, I like a lot to ride the bike.
returning to my house, I´ll tell you wich is m favourite place. I like the garden the most, it has a soft grass a great cold swimmingpool, you can hear the birds...

My Favourite Dish

we see us again, dear readers. how was your 18 of September vacations??I went to Algarrobo by the way. Today I´m a little imaginationless.

ok, today I´m going to writte about my favourite dish, it is the "chaparritas"! they are sausages cover with pastry. what a great disch!! they are good for snack to, you cut the sausages smaller.

there is to my favourite dessert is lemon pie. I simply love it!! for drink... I think I like the Canada Dry Ginger Ale (R).

An oder dish that I like a lot is the "Barros Luco". it is a sandwish made of meat with cheese. you´ll say that I like the simple things, is just that I don´t like to many kinds of food.

For snack, i like the "machas a la parmesana", every kind of chips, every kind of chocolate, of course, and other things like that.

an other dessert that i like is the "Kuchen de Nuez", I´m an expert cooking that tart. by the way, I love cooking.

Hi my readers!! how are you?? today I´m going to tell you what am I going to do on my September holidays.
I´m going to do it all "a la chilena". in Algarrobo, i´ll eat "empanadas", chilean candies, "humitas", "carbonada" and everything that is chilean (but I don´t even like humitas and carbonada).
For every September holidays we go with my family to Algarrobo. it is very popular on September, lot of people likes to go there.
but, what am I going to do? well, I´ll tell you:
first, i have to fly a kite, you will say that´s a little infantile, but i like to, ok?? let me be!!
ok, after that, i have to go to the "Fondas"!! they are great! specialy the games... =]

Now, i have to tell you that the homeland vacations are my favourite date, more than Chrismas or my birthday! that´s ´cause i think I´m a little patriot. by the way, next year is the bicentenary, chile is 199 years old!!! can you belive it?? they grow so fast!
well, I think that´s all for today my dears, see you tomorrow and past tomorow and everyday without counting weekends!! =D

My Favourite Movie

I don´t realy have one favourite movie, i like some of them in special, but when i was a kid, i use to have a favorite movie all the time. first, it was "El Jorobado de Notre Dame". i loved that movie, i use to see it like twice a day!

After that came "Spirit", the story of the valiant horse. i loved that movie to. the pictures and the music where very cool, and i liked to draw the horses. i wasn´t very good on that, but that´s how i learnt. when i stopped watching Spirit, the movie "Simbad" came to me. in that film i liked at most the story, about pirates, monsters, and friendship.

Now, i could say that i don´t have one favorite movie, but a movie that i like a lot and i could watch like everyday, is "The Phantom of The Opera", the one acted by Gerard Buttler. i don´t get bored with it because of the music. it is a musical, the songs that are played everytime in the movie makes me love it. i still like the old movies that i used to prefer, but i see lots of other movies, i don´t use to repeat them, with the exception of the musical, but i don´t like "High School Musical", don´t get confused.

My Winter Holidays

hi dear readers!!

what a pleasure to writte to you again. do you know what did i do on my Vacations? i´ll tell you:

first, i stayed a weekend on Santiago. At that time i cooked a lot, specially muffins.

after that i went to mision on Rengo. That was a Sonday, i stayed there for five days, until Friday. it was a very good experience, i really enjoyed it. there we had to visit people, talk to them and help them. in the afternoon we made activities with the children, teenagers and adults.

After Rengo i went back to my hous in Santiago. i spended a few days more there before going to Algarrobo. at that days i cooked a lot, i went to the mall and all that stuff. on that time my parents came back of France. they brought me a lot of pretty things. for example: clotes, a mini Rubik´s cube, coke mentos(R), fruit mentos(R) and chocolate.

On Wednesday we went to Algarrobo. there i had a great time doing all the things that you can do on a beach on winter.

Ok, this is all for today my dear friends! i hope to see you all at school tomorrow.

writing blogs in english...

hi readers!!! seems like if this was the last blog that i write, at least for this semester.
i really enjoyed writing blogs, it really helps for making better your writing skills. the practice makes you better, that´s why i think blogs were very useful.
Also, writing and commenting the blogs is very funny, an interactive way to learn english.
Blogs did really help me with my english. i didn´t get to much better with all the notes that i wrote, but is obviously very good.
about the topics, i liked some of them, others were a little boring. for example, i didn´t like talking about my ideal holiday or environment. there are things for the ones i have a lot of imagination, but for others i´m totaly obsolete. i liked talking about music, countries, Patch Adams... there is a lot to talk about, but environment... that was definitely the worst. what a boring topic!
i´ll suggest some topics, for not feeling to critical. we could talk about weird people, like Michael Jackson or about animals, i like animals :D

Patch Adams

Hi readers! what´s up? how are you doing today?? now i´m going to entertain you with my opinion of the famous doctor and clown Patch Adams.

if you ask me, i think he is a great person, he is one of the few who understand that the happiness brings you everything that you want in live. He says that laughing is very important for the health. i think, that if you are happy with yourself, and if you believe that you can do everything, you can realy do what you want and cure yourself. a person that is sad, that doesn´t want to laugh or to be happy won´t be better.

Hunter "Patch" Adams is a great person, and he has great ideas for curing people. the "laughtherapy" is the real solution for illness, i think that every hospital should start with this, if you make patients feel better, then they will be better, and also you.

He is all ways an example of human and a real inspiration for a lot of people.

Waht´s your ideal holiday??

hi my dear readers!!! how are you doing today??i hope you are great. now, i´m going to talk about my ideal holiday. an important thing, before the place is with who. the people i would like the most to come with me are my cousins, a holiday with all of them will be perfect.

and the place... it´s very difficult to say where would i like to go, so i will say some places that i would like to see:

1.-Las Torres del Paine: i have already go once, but for a very short time, i realy liked it. there are many excursions in the park, some of they require a few days to complete, and you need to camp.

2.-England: i´ve always wanted to visit England, i thing it´s a great country with a lot of story. an other reason is that being in England you can go to any other country in Europe, i could go to france to visit my sister and his boyfriend. there is Germany to, and Switzerland, many great countries.

3.- i would realy like to go to Hawaii, just to see if it is so great like they say. there i could dive and see many colour fish and big tourtles...

that is my perfect holiday.

where would i live??

if you could live in Canada, USA or England, where would you live??? that´s an easy cuestion, i would obiously live in England! that´s on of my imposible dreams, it would be great! firstable, couse i love how british people speak, i love them accent, it´s beautiful! there are many british actors and actresses that speak english so beautiful, thats why i like it.

other reason is that England is a country very organised, with good laws, thera are less thieves, you can trust everyone, it´s like the perfedt country.

in England there is a lot of story to, there are beautyful constructions, some of them very old, like the Big Ben, or the stonehenge.

other great reason is the Europpean Union, it has a lot of advantages, i could travell to any other country in Europe, with out the need of a passport. i always wanted to travell and know other countries.

Ecology

Hello readers! today i´m going to tell you about ecology in Chile. Ecology is a very relevant topic on these days, specially now that we have to take care of the enviroument, couse the global warming is killing our planet!! and that´s wath we don´t want to hapen.
so, here in Chile we are doing a lot of good stuff, like recycling with the "Punto limpio", using less energy turning off the lights, using less water... that kind of things depends on everyone, and that´s wath YOU can do.
but we aren´t doing everything right, we also polute a lot, with all that fumes that generate the smog and make bigger the greenhouse effect, and on the litter on the streets that WE leave there... we have to change if we want our planet clean and healt!
these is all that i know about ecology, is not to much, but at last i can help :]

my favourite music

I´m going to tell you about my favourite music. firstly, i have to tell you that i love music. I like every kind of music, or most of them. I just hate reaggeton, and i don´t like heavy metal too much.
My favourite artist is Juan Luis Guerra, i love his music for dancing, and hearing, and everything. i like Jack Johnson to. Bob Marley and his son Ziggy are pretty good to, i like reggae, they have a great style.
My favourites styles of music are salsa, cumbia, merengue, pop, reggae and i also like classic music, especially songs with piano.
other group that i like a lot is the Beatles, they are a little old, but their songs continue being great.
an other group that is very good to is Gondwana, i think they are a chilean group. they sing reggae, and their songs have a very nice lirics.

My Favourite Invention

my favourite invention:

the best invention of the world for me, is the bicicle. it si pretty good for move from a place to an other and such a good enterteinment. i love to do sports, and the bice is a great option, easy to ride and you don´t need nothing else to use it, just enthusiasm and a littel of energy.

the bice is very useful for me. for example, yesterday i had to go to one place, but no one could take me there, so i took my bice and rided to there.
at my vacations i went for a ride with my dad many times, we use to ride 22 km most of the weekends.

hello my dear reader, my name is Alejandra, i am fifteen years old and i´m in the second year of high school, in the Santa Ursula School. I like biology, art, and lenguages, specialy english. These year, after the school i´m doing tracks, lerning how to play the "charango" and i´m in the chorus.
In my free time i like to draw, to sail, to read, to play instruments and to do sport. I like dancing and going to parties.
I have a great family. We are seven sisters, i don´t have brothers. They are: Andrea, Erika, Constanza, Josefina, Bernardita, me and Macarena. My first sister is twenty six years old, she is living in France.The second one is twenty four years old, she is very hardworking, is working at Lan. My next sister is studing civil engineering, Josefina is studing Kinesiology and Bernardita is studing civil engineering. the last one, Macarena, is just twelve years old, she is in school.
For the vacacions we go to Algarrobo, there i like to swim, to sail, i ride my bice with my cousins, we go for a walk and we see movis.
